Summer Camps Experience and training in theatre can improve students' communication, critical thinking, and team-based skills! ECTC offers summer camps throughout June and July, for students ages 4 to 18, in Bay and Walton counties; learn about our 2018 summer camps by reading camp descriptions below. Sibling, Military, and multiple camp discounts; Payment pland and Scholarships available. Save $20 by registering before May 1, 2018. Bring snack and water for half day camps, for full day snack, water, and lunch. $25 registration fee applies to all camps. Little Rascals Theatre Ages 4 - 6 Tuition: $130 (payments available) Designed specifically for our youngest players, our Little Rascals camps focus on activities that allow students to explore acting, singing, and movement in an energetic, nurturing environment that fosters creativity and collaboration. M/T-Th/F from 9am - 12pm with a final performance on the last day of camp. Tuition $130. May 29-June 1 ECTC @ Grand Boulevard, Miramar Beach - Pirates and Princesses June 11 - 14 ECTC @ Grand Boulevard, Miramar Beach - Mermaids and Musketeers July 23-27 Bayou Arts Center, Santa Rosa Beach - Frozen Snow Queen July 30 - Aug 3 Bayou Arts Center, Santa Rosa Beach - Hawaiian Moana Theme Register Camp Showtime Grades 2 - 8 Tuition: $150 (payments available) Let the rhythm get you! Come act, sing and dance your heart out to popular Broadway tunes as we learn songs and simple choreography to some of the most popular musical numbers in show business. We'll also play theatre games and watch some classic musicals on film. Watch out parents, we'll WOW you with a performance the last day of camp! M-Th/F with a final performance on the last day of camp. Tuition $150. Join our quest in this NON musical version of “Robin Hood." Robin Hood is the outlaw of Sherwood Forest, leading a merry life with his followers. Anyone needing a place to live or food to eat is welcome. Impoverished citizens led by Robin are waging a battle against the evil Prince John. There’s sure to be lots of crazy antics in this classic story that’s got something for everyone to love! M-F with a final performance on the last day of camp. Donations accepted. Tuition $175. Featuring updated songs from Disney’s thrilling animated motion picture, Disney’s Alice in Wonderland JR.is a fast-paced take on the classic tale. This two week camp gives ECTC instructors time with your young thespian to train them even more with stage presence, acting techniques, and theatre games! M-F for two weeks (skipping Saturday and Sunday) with a final performance the Friday evening and Saturday morning of the last week of camp. Performance tickets are $12. This camp is all about learning the process that many of the big names in the industry use. It will explore how to access the creative spaces in your brain, pull out ideas, share them, play with them, and then turn the ideas them into a design. In this workshop you will have the opportunity to learn the process of taking a story from script to stage, either through costumes or scenery. Additionally, you will learn some drawing skills, and in the afternoons have a chance to break out the paint brushes and do some scenic painting!
