The Small Business of the Year award recognizes an organization/industry in the northern region of the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce service area that demonstrates genuine partnership by working with other businesses, non-profits and area agencies to identify issues and develop sustainable programs and initiatives that make a lasting impact on our community.
CRITERIA: Please nominate a member who is located in the northern portion of the county (north of the Choctawhatchee Bay). Nominees in this category may not staff more than 50 employees. Particular areas of work to note are: Job creation/workforce development, community involvement at the corporate and/or employee representative level, involvement in county/regional focused economic development programs, and involvement in programs that focus on school/education partnerships.
