Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Meets with new and existing clients on a regular basis to provide a wide range of information on firm’s services.
Sets up new client accounts by obtaining banking information, payroll information, and any other pertinent information for accounting and billing purposes.
Schedules and conducts QuickBooks training when necessary with clients.
Assists with other support and administrative duties as needed.
Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual compiled financial statements.
Assists with trial balances, month-end closings, workpapers, and reconciliations as a part of annual tax return preparation.
Completes quarterly and annual federal and state payroll tax returns, including 1099s and W-2s.
Prepares and processes sales and use tax returns.
Processes payroll and payroll tax deposits and verifies that employee deductions and taxes are properly processed.
Suggests process updates and works with office manager and client services staff members to implement changes on an ongoing basis.
Maintains a keyboarding speed of at least 50 cwpm.
Assists with special projects as needed.
Education and/or Experience
Associate’s degree from a two or four-year college and three years accounting experience.

Salary: $35,000.00 to $45,000.00 /year
