Sacred Heart to Host Free Superfoods Nutrition Class on Aug. 7

MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. (July 21, 2017) – Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast is holding a free, community nutrition class on Monday, Aug. 7 titled “Superfoods for a Super You.” This wellness education is designed to connect participants with new ways of eating to maximize health and quality of life by incorporating the top 10 superfoods into their diet.

Join Registered Dietitian Julee Christie on Monday, Aug. 7 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. to learn about why some foods are more “Super” than others. Christie will reveal the Top 10 superfoods and talk about the evidence based research of why and how to incorporate these foods into your daily life. 

Christie will provide recipes and food samples to illustrate the topics discussed. The goal of this nutrition class is to provide attendees with valuable information on how certain foods can significantly improve your health. Participants are invited to bring along their lunch to enjoy with the food samples provided.

The class will take place in the Suite 3 Conference Room at the hospital, which is located at 7800 U.S. Hwy 98 West in Miramar Beach.
