DESCRIPTION:The 23nd Annual Memorial Day Service will be held at the Gum Creek Cemetery located north of DeFuniak Springs off State Road 83 near Glendale.  \n\n \n\nThe Gum Creek Cemetery is one of the oldest in Walton County and is thought to be over 160 years old. The cemetery marks the final resting place of veterans from American's wars all the way back to the early 19th Century\, with 12 known Civil War Veterans and one confirmed Seminole War veteran buried on the property.\n\n\n\nPlease join us this year as we remember all that have served and sacrificed so dearly for our way of life.
