DESCRIPTION:Join us for a gala event\, "An Evening for Education\," hosted at The WaterColor LakeHouse on Thursday\, May 9th at 6 p.m. as we highlight the many successes of education in Walton County. The evening will first recognize the 2024 Superintendent of the Year for the State of Florida\, our own Mr. A. Russell Hughes. The night will also make note of the many successes in Walton County education - like achieving recognition as the #2 District in the State. \n\nThe event will benefit the programs of Walton Education Foundation and will secure the first scholarship for a deserving student at the Walton Teacher Academy. \n\nThis is a ticketed event and tickets should be purchased through this site.\n\nSponsorship opportunities are available.
