But many find it difficult to know where to begin.\n\nThis workshop will help you understand where to begin on your particular journey and introduce resources available to help you along the way.\n\nLed by Jessica Tenney\, the Program Manager for Florida Apex Accelerator\, a division of the Small Business Development Center. Tenney leans on her professional experience in government contracting to consult with multiople business interested in contracting.\n\n\n\nA veteran\, Tenney served on active duty in the United States Navy for close to a decade\, which gave her a strong foundation in leadership and management. Following her military career\, she ran the operations for a defense contractor that specializes in Information Technology and Healthcare services. She led the company to recognition as one of Inc. 500's Fastest Growing Companies in America - Government Services and in achieving Joint Commission certification.\n\nTenney holds an M.B.A. and a B.S. in Health Science and Public Health from the University of West Florida. Her firsthand experience in the small business sector fuels her passion for helping other companies succeed in government contracting.
