DESCRIPTION:LakeFest 5K Run/Walk- The LakeFest 5K run/walk brings back the tradition of racing around Lake DeFuniak while encouraging wellness across our community. This 5K run/walk will start at and end on beautiful Circle Drive at Lake DeFuniak\, #1 roundest lake in America at 7:00AM. The scenic paved run will showcase many of DeFuniak's over 200 homes listed on the historic register. Cool down afterwards at the Dash n' Splash fun run starting at 11:00AM with family and friends.\n\n\n\nBring your friends and family for a fun day together. Try out your first 5K or try to beat your previous time. There are many opportunities to get awards\, even for beginners\, seniors\, and youth.\n\n\n\nThe LakeFest 5K Run/Walk will be held May 20\, 2017 at 7am. at the Chautauqua Center on 96 Circle Drive\, DeFuniak Springs\, FL 32435 and ends at the same location. \n\n\n\nCome experience professional run/walk timing by ChronoTrack.\n\n\n\nRunners can register here up until the race starts. Our registration price starts at $20 and pre-registration includes a great Lakefest gift with your registration. More information about the run and the race course can be found on the LakeFest Facebook page or at www.defuniakspringslakefest.com\n\n\n\nAwards will be given to both male and female runners across multiple categories. These include 1st   3rd overall finishers\, Master\, Grand Master\, top finishers in each age group\, wheelchairs\, and the overall male and female winner for walkers.
