DESCRIPTION:British Columbia 's Entertainment Hall of Fame Pioneer Artist LINDA MCRAE will perform her multi-instrumental magic at Escape To Create's 7th Annual Valentine To 30A Concert on Friday\, February 15th\, 7:30pm at the Seaside REP Theatre. A genuine storyteller with an international touring career spanning over three decades\, McRae 's pure voice and authentic lyrics have been likened to artists Hank Williams\, Patsy Cline and Leonard Cohen. McRae first achieved commercial success as a member of Spirit Of The West\, Canada's legendary folk and Celtic band. Since embarking on a solo career in the late 90's\, McRae has released six critically-acclaimed albums of original works imbued with Americana and Bluegrass\, Blues\, Folk and Gospel influences. Now based in Nashville\, she also performs with Canadian mandolin master Doug Cox and Nashville's twice-nominated Grammy songstress Kim Richie as their trio The Primary Colors.
