Back pain can be a hindrance to enjoying every day activities. This free seminar will address ways to manage low back pain\, from symptoms to treatments. Stephanie Borst\, Doctor of Physical Therapy\, will speak on what to do when you experience low back pain at home or work\, and how to prevent low back pain through core strengthening exercise and proper stretching techniques. \n\n"The two best ways to decrease low back pain problems are with education and prevention\," said Borst. "We want people to know how to properly take care of their backs and what treatment options exist without the side effects of medications\, injections or surgery."\n\nAttendees will learn how to develop a successful low back management plan to help strengthen core muscles with the right kind of exercises as well as preventive measures they can incorporate into their daily lives to help avert further injury.\n\nThe Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Center provides a wide spectrum of specialized rehabilitative care and education for patients that have conditions affecting their overall balance and mobility. A multidisciplinary team of physical therapy experts work together to strengthen and preserve mobility\, while educating the patient and preventing future injuries. \n\nThe seminar will be held at Sacred Heart Rehabilitation at The Market Shops in Miramar Beach.  located at 9375 Emerald Coast Pkwy.
