DESCRIPTION:This month's Power of Business Luncheon will focus on Education and is Sponsored by Trustmark Banking and Financial Solutions. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDr. Ty Handy is President of Northwest Florida State College.  He joined NWFLSC in 2010. Positions held include President of Vermont Technical College (VTC)\, a public associate and baccalaureate institution\, Vice Chancellor for academic affairs\, University of Arkansas Community College - Batesville\; dean of academic affairs\, Elizabethtown Community College\, Kentucky\; and dean of business technologies/social sciences\, Jefferson Community College\, Ohio. Dr. Handy earned the Ed.D. degree from the University of Memphis in Higher Education Administration\, the MBA in Accounting and Finance from Drexel University and the BS degree in finance from Western Kentucky University.\n\n\n\nThe door prizes will include vacation stays from Newman-Dailey Resort Properties\, Ocean Reef Resort Properties\, ResortQuest by Wyndham Vacation and Southern Vacation Rentals.  An 18-hole round of golf from Emerald Bay and a full day rental from BOTE will also be door prizes for the lucky winners.
