DESCRIPTION:United Way\, in partnership with Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa\, cordially invites you to attend the 2016 Annual Dinner and Silent Auction "60's Groovy Gala-time to get your groove on!"     \n\n\n\nEvent Attire: Come dressed in your favorite 60's attire\, "Groovy Man"\n\nEMCEES:  Sal Nodjomian\, Colonel (Retired\, USAF)   Matrix Design Group \n\nMusic- Strange Brew \n\n \n\nFor the past seventeen years\, the United Way has held a Dinner & Silent Auction Event that has proven to be the single largest fundraiser for the United Way and its 40 partner agencies. The event will be held Saturday\, January 30\, 2016\, 6:30pm at the Hilton of Sandestin.  Your support of this fundraiser contributes greatly to improve the quality of life\, human health and welfare in Okaloosa and Walton Counties. Plan to attend and make this year's event extra special and ensure the success of this exciting event.  \n\n \n\nEnjoy a relaxing evening with friends\, great food\, entertainment and an array of fabulous auction items. Thanks to Fred Astaire Dance Studios and their fabulous instructors\, a local Dance Contest will provide fun entertainment.  Our 2016 Celebrity Dancers are Dr. Brodie Bowman\, Sarah Leatherman\, Katie Sharon\, Marnie Tate and Steve Wolfrom and each one began early raising funds prior to the night of the event. They will perform their dance routine that evening with a Fred Astaire professional dancer. Friends and family members may support their dancer by making a donation on the United Way website\, www.united-way.org or donating the evening of event. The couple who raises the most dollars for the United Way wins the dance competition. \n\nCome and get your groove on with the music of the 60's provided by the band\, Strange Brew  \n\nSecuring Auction Items: The United Way is now in the process of securing auction items for the Silent auction and I would like to make a special request to all the stores and vendors in our area to please consider support the United Way by donating a gift certificate or an item from your business to the Silent Auction.
