SUMMARY:Veteran Entrepreneur's Introduction to Business
DESCRIPTION:In uncertain economic times\, people often seek to take control of their work and financial stability by starting their own business. Entrepreneurship is also very attractive to military service members and their families as their military careers come to a close.\n\nIt is possible to achieve financial independence by owning your own business\, if you do the foundational work to set up your business for success.\n\nIn conjunction with Veterans Florida\, our workshop is presented by Brent Peacock\, the Director of the Veterans Business Outreach Center\, also known as VBOC.\n\nVBOC is a division of the US Small Business Administration\, an organization dedicated to helping all entrepreneurs launch or grow their business. Although the VBOC's primary community of outreach is military veterans and their families\, the information in their workshops is helpful to all new entrepreneurs.\n\nThis workshop will discuss what is involved in owning your own business\, specifically:\n\n\n	Determining your business idea's marketability\n	Structuring your business - capital investments and legal formation requirements\, etc.\n	Marketing vs Advertising - what's the difference and what's the most cost effective?\n\n\nIf you're considering launching your own business\, this is a workshop you won't want to miss!\n\nRegister today and receive a complimentary ticket to a networking happy hour before the workshop (4:30). Pizza and alternative beverages will be served during the workshop.
