DESCRIPTION:Notice of Public Hearing\n\n \n\nThe Walton County Board of County Commissioners proposes to adopt the following by ordinance:\n\n \n\nORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCES 86-18 AND 98-2 (ESTABLISHING THE INITIAL TOURIST DEVELOPMENT TAX AND THE THIRD CENT TOURIST DEVELOPMENT TAX) (AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCES 91-5\, 91-9\, 01-12\, 94-14\, 97-38\, 00-19\, 02-01\, 04-06\, 07-98\, 08-33\, 09-11\, 14-02\, and 16-01\, WHICH ADDRESS COLLECTION ISSUES AND PRIOR TOURIST DEVELOPMENT PLANS)\, AND UPDATING THE PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED WALTON COUNTY TOURIST DEVELOPMENT PLAN WITH ANTICIPATED REVENUE AND EXPENSES FOR THE 24 MONTHS BEGINNING JANUARY 1\, 2018.\n\n \n\nYou are hereby notified that a Public Hearing on the ordinance will be held on January 23\, 2018\, beginning at 9:00 a.m.\, or as soon as possible to that time\, at the Walton County Courthouse located at 571 U.S. Highway 90 East\, DeFuniak Springs\, Florida.\n\nPlease be governed accordingly.\n\n \n\nWalton County adheres to the American with Disabilities Act and will make reasonable modifications for access to the meetings upon request.
