2026 Build-A-Bucket

Save the date for Walton County EM’s 2026 Build-A-Bucket event, Saturday, September 26th from 10AM - 3PM in Hammock Bay! Interested in becoming a sponsor? Showcase your business and help the WCEM team empower our community to be ready before disaster strikes. Your support makes it possible to provide approximately 2,000 free emergency preparedness buckets filled with essential supplies and educational materials, while keeping this family-friendly event free and accessible to everyone. Build-A-Bucket is Walton County's signature Disaster Preparedness Month event, bringing together thousands of residents, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and public safety partners for a day of hands-on learning, interactive exhibits, Touch-a-Truck experiences, safety demonstrations, and preparedness education. Together, we can inspire families to take simple steps toward preparedness, strengthen community resilience, and ensure our neighbors have the tools and knowledge they need when emergencies occur.
