On Sunday, May 4, La Cocina Mexican Grill and Bar will celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a block party. From 2 to 7 p.m., the restaurant’s courtyard will come alive with a DJ, face painting, family friendly games, drink specials, and specialty plates.
Drink specials include $5 house margaritas, $7 Cazadores Blanco margaritas, and $3 Mexican-imported beers. Chef Ben Lillard has crafted specialty dishes for the occasion, including Fried Soft Shell Crab Quesadillas ($15), Fried Lobster Tacos ($17), and Fried Cheesecake ($5).
The food and drink specials will also be offered in-restaurant on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The festivities will continue on Monday, May 5 with specials running during lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. and dinner from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
