Hurricane Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday
Florida law provides that no sales tax or discretionary sales surtax will be collected on the sale or purchase of certain items rleated to hurricane preparedness for the period beginning 12:01 a.m., Sunday, May 21, 2006, and ending at midnight, Thursday, June 1, 2006.
