The Arts Guild of the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation and The Patsy Bland Team of Century 21 Wilson-Minger Agency will host award-winning author and U. S. Coast Guard Academy Graduate, Martha LaGuardia-Kotite on May 16 at 11:30 a.m., Embassy Suites Hotel in Miramar Beach. At this patriotic spring luncheon, “Stars & Stripes, A Star-Spangled Salute”, Martha LaGuardia-Kotite will share her compelling stories and tributes to those men and women who have served our country with excerpts from her newly-released books, My Name is Old Glory: A Celebration of the Star-Spangled Banner and Changing The Rules of Engagement. The luncheon will include a book signing with a portion of book sales benefitting Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation’s arts and education programs.
Founded in 1995, The Arts Guild represents men and women comprised of individuals, business leaders, artists and patrons of the arts. Programs feature a broad spectrum of artists from authors, chefs, jewelers, singers, musicians to visual artists.
