On Wednesday, March 16, the Northwest Florida State College Board of Trustees voted to interview Dr. Sasha Jarrell for the position of college President.
“The board of trustees have voted to interview interim president, Dr. Sasha Jarrell for the permanent position,” said Brian Pennington, Chairman, NWF State College Board of Trustees. “Dr. Jarrell is currently serving the college in the role of Interim President. The two finalist candidates, Dr. Juston Pate and Dr. Anthony Tricoli, are still under consideration for the position.”
Two candidate forums are scheduled for Monday, March 28 with Dr. Jarrell. An open community forum will be held at 10:00 a.m. and a faculty/staff forum will be held at 2:00 p.m. Topics will include Dr. Jarrell's vision for NWFSC in the future among several others. The Board of Trustees will interview Dr. Jarrell during its meeting on Wednesday, March 30 at 8:30 a.m. Following Dr. Jarrell’s interview, the trustees will deliberate to discuss all candidates. All forums and the trustee meeting will be held in the Student Services Center, Room 302.
