The Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra performs the second concert of the season October 29 at 7:30 p.m. in the mainstage theater of the Mattie Kelly Arts Center at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville. The NFSO continues its successful presentation of operas in concert version with the most popular comic opera of all time – The Barber of Seville. A stellar cast includes mezzo soprano Maria McDaniel and tenor Adam Kirkpatrick with baritone David Murray returning to Niceville to portray the world’s most famous and mischievous barber! Rossini’s Barber has proven to be one of the greatest masterpieces of comedy within music, and even after two hundred years, its popularity on the modern opera stage attests to that greatness. Tickets: $32.50 each for adults, $16 for Active Duty Military (four ticket military discount limit), and $16 for youth ages 18 and younger. NWFSC students may receive one free ticket per student ID.
