A new paddle board event, The Tribal Charity Paddle Race, will be held on the Choctawhatchee Bay at LuLu’s restaurant in Destin to benefit the Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center (ECCAC) on October 19, at 9 a.m. Paddle Tribe Co. is teaming up with LuLu’s and sponsor Century 21, Blue Marlin Pelican.
There will be several medal winning races to include a 1-mile; a 3-mile surf style and displacement for under 50 and 50+; a kids 12 and under category; and a big board race team of four, with teams drawn from a hat. Included in the registration fee of $35 for adults and $25 for kids 12 and under, is a LuLu’s hamburger or chicken finger meal.
