Due to the recent Supreme Court decision that upheld the constitutionality of “Obamacare”, it is evident that this law is here to stay, and employers need to understand how this law will impact their business. Under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act ("PPACA") employers will be required to comply with this very complex law in a variety of ways. Certain employers will be forced to either offer health care coverage to their employees, or face significant financial penalties, and some employers who do offer health care coverage to employees will still be required to pay penalties as well. It is crucial that businesses understand the various aspects of this law and how it will impact their bottom line. Dan Sinas from the PR Companies (PRemployer, Personnel Resources and Preferred Risk Services) will be the seminar leader. Dan has spent almost 30 years in the Human Resources field, holds a Masters Degree in Labor Relations, and has conducted numerous seminars for our Chamber, as well as industry groups, trade associations, civic organizations and private companies. You don’t want to miss this one!
