UWF Business Academy
Ready to start or strengthen your business? The UWF Business Academy is a hands-on, multi-session program designed to give entrepreneurs and small business owners practical tools for success. Hosted by America’s SBDC Florida at the Lewis Bear Jr. College of Business at the University of West Florida and supported by Truist Bank, this academy walks participants through the core foundations of running a strong, sustainable business.
Over the course of six sessions, attendees will gain insight into starting a business, marketing strategies, budgeting and financial statements, and human resources management. The program also includes focused guidance on connecting to capital and an overview of government contracting, helping business owners understand funding pathways and new growth opportunities.
Led by experienced professionals and subject matter experts, the UWF Business Academy offers real-world knowledge in an interactive setting. Food will be provided, and participants will leave with actionable steps they can immediately apply to their business.
