Bookkeeper - Santa Rosa Beach, Florida

An established, 50+ year Vacation Rental Company, is currently seeking a bookkeeper to join their team. Strong QuickBooks knowledge and payroll experience is required. Must be able to work Mondays and Fridays.

Job Duties May Include:

  • Bi-weekly Payroll & Employee benefits - Collects weekly time cards, records employee hours, posting to appropriate jobs and labor codes, prepare checks.
  • Maintains all personnel records and employee services including insurance.
  • State sales and bed tax filing
  • Journal entries
  • Prepare and record vendor checks
  • Prepare and record contractor checks
  • Files weekly payroll tax payments and quarterly/yearly reports.
  • Works with general manager maintaining financial records and preparing monthly and annual reports and budgets.
  • Provides administrative assistance to the general manager as required.
  • Monitors the general liability, workers comp and health insurance premiums.

Job Requirements

  • QuickBooks experience required
  • Should have an Associate's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience, as well as a knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles
  • State sales and bed tax experience
  • Must be organized

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
