Bookkeeper - Santa Rosa Beach, Florida
An established, 50+ year Vacation Rental Company, is currently seeking a bookkeeper to join their team. Strong QuickBooks knowledge and payroll experience is required. Must be able to work Mondays and Fridays.
Job Duties May Include:
- Bi-weekly Payroll & Employee benefits - Collects weekly time cards, records employee hours, posting to appropriate jobs and labor codes, prepare checks.
- Maintains all personnel records and employee services including insurance.
- State sales and bed tax filing
- Journal entries
- Prepare and record vendor checks
- Prepare and record contractor checks
- Files weekly payroll tax payments and quarterly/yearly reports.
- Works with general manager maintaining financial records and preparing monthly and annual reports and budgets.
- Provides administrative assistance to the general manager as required.
- Monitors the general liability, workers comp and health insurance premiums.
Job Requirements
- QuickBooks experience required
- Should have an Associate's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience, as well as a knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles
- State sales and bed tax experience
- Must be organized
