In 1940, Jimmy Tringas arrived in Fort Walton Beach and opened the Tringas Theater, planting roots in a community he would help shape for generations.
Sixteen years later, in 1956, he helped organize Southern National Bank — the institution known today as FNBT Bank. Now, 86 years after Jimmy first called Fort Walton Beach home, FNBT has proudly served the area for 70 years and remains the only locally owned bank in the region. The Tringas family continues to lead the bank their founder built.
