WALTON COUNTY, Fla. — July 24 — The nomination period for the 2027 Perfect in Walton County Awards opens Monday, July 27, and runs through Friday, Aug. 14. During this time, anyone can nominate their favorite businesses, events and activities using the online form available only at perfectinwaltoncounty.com.
Support your favorite Walton County businesses by submitting nominations in as many—or as few—of the 30 categories as you'd like. Each email address may submit one online nomination form, and every nomination matters. Visitor-focused businesses are encouraged to spread the word and ask their customers, guests, followers, friends and family to participate. Social media graphics are available to use HERE.
To be eligible, businesses and individuals must be primarily located in and serve Walton County. Businesses offering beach services, including photographers, yoga instructors, bonfire companies, beach chair vendors and similar providers, must also have a current vendor permit issued by Walton County Code Compliance.
Following the nomination period, the five businesses receiving the most nominations in each category will move on to the online voting round, scheduled for Aug. 31 through Sept. 18 at perfectinwaltoncounty.com.
The top three businesses with the most votes in each category will be honored as Diamond, Platinum or Gold winners during the Perfect in Walton County Awards ceremony in January 2027. Winners will receive yearlong recognition through Walton County Tourism's print and digital marketing efforts.
