An Evening for Education returns showcasing how Walton County Students are ‘Charging into the Future’ through CTE
Celebrate education in Walton County, Florida
Miramar Beach, FL and Walton County, FL – “An Evening for Education,” presented by EPIC Sponsor, The St. Joe Community Foundation, returns Friday, April 17th at the Hilton Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort and Spa benefitting Walton Education Foundation, a nonprofit serving its mission to impact and support education in Walton County, Florida.
Themed ‘An Evening for Education - Charging into the Future’ the night will highlight the outstanding opportunities offered to Walton County students through Career Technology and Education (CTE) programs and certifications showcasing a variety of these certifications.
The night begins at 6 p.m. with a cocktail reception and campaign welcome followed by dinner, silent auction, live music and remarks from Superintendent of Walton County Schools, A. Russell Hughes.
Walton Education Foundation’s, ‘An Evening for Education’ is the perfect time for Walton County to come together for a great night to learn more about educational opportunities in our area,” shared Walton Education Foundation Board Chair, Gabrielle Hamilton. “This night also highlights to the community unique opportunities offered to students to impact their future.”
Guests can expect interactive observations from a variety of CTE-focused areas including healthcare, IT, engineering, agriculture and more.
