Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast welcomes new cardiologist
MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. – We are pleased to welcome Darin Busby, MD, to Ascension Sacred Heart Cardiology - Miramar Beach. His office is located in the Medical Office Building on the campus of Sacred Heart Emerald Coast at 7720 U.S. 98, Suite 110. He joins the largest heart care team in Walton County with four doctors, including a cardiac electrophysiologist and two interventional cardiologists, and four mid-level providers specializing in cardiology.
“12% of adults in Walton County have been told they have heart disease, heart attack or stroke,” said Claudia Emami, MD, MPH, MBA, FACS, Chief Medical Officer for Sacred Heart Emerald Coast. “Increasing access to cardiology care will help more people manage chronic conditions to reduce their risks and improve their quality of life.”
Dr. Busby is board-certified in cardiology and completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases and his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he also earned his Medical Degree.
He specializes in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine, providing comprehensive care for patients with heart and vascular conditions, as well as general adult medical needs.
