California Closets Emerald Coast Donates $20,000 Grant to Four Deserving Organizations Across the Gulf Coast
October 7, 2025 – In the spirit of giving back, California Closets Emerald Coast, in partnership with their Showrooms in Santa Rosa Beach and New Orleans, is proud to announce a donation of $20,000 in custom storage solutions across four deserving organizations along the Gulf Coast.
The entire effort is part of the California Closets Emerald Coast’s Community Giveback Campaign. Since 2019, the Campaign has supported organizations across the Gulf Coast and this year, benefiting Rooms with a Purpose of Lynn Haven, Caring and Sharing of South Walton, Habitat for Humanity of Walton County, and Animal Rescue of New Orleans.
“This campaign has always been about giving back to our community,” said California Closets local Franchise Owner, Joe Lindenmayer. “We started this by asking past customers and our social media followers to nominate deserving organizations. Today, I’m honored to support such important missions dedicated to building stronger, more connected communities along the Gulf Coast.
“Rooms With A Purpose is extremely grateful for this amazing opportunity. Thank you so much to Joe and his crew,” said director Sherry Melton. “Building relationships with companies like California Closets enables us to continue making a difference in the lives of children with life challenging illnesses and issues. We look forward to working with this amazing group of people.”
“Partnerships like this allow us to expand our impact in meaningful ways,” said Carly Barnes, Executive Director of Caring & Sharing of South Walton. “Thanks to California Closets Emerald Coast, we can make important updates to our thrift store, an essential part of how we serve families and generate funds for our programs. Just as meaningful, the exposure from this contest helps highlight the growing needs in our community and the work being done to meet them."
“Partnerships like this remind us that we are stronger together,” shared Teresa Jones, Habitat for Humanity of Walton County, CEO. “We are grateful for a gift that goes far beyond the materials donated, California Closets is helping us build a more connected community.”
“We are deeply grateful to California Closets for this generous grant,” said Kathy Perra, president of Animal Rescue New Orleans (ARNO). “Having a more organized system for storing items such as enrichment tools and medical supplies means our team can spend less time searching for what they need and more time caring for the animals at our shelter. This support will directly enhance the quality of life for the pets in our care and help to keep them happier, healthier and better prepared to find their forever homes.”
The local business plans to continue creating opportunities for giving and encourages others to join in the effort.
“We’ve got a culture of giving back for many years and centered around Small Town Values for Life. This started growing up in a large family in a small Upstate NY farm community to my time in the Marine Corps. We truly care about helping our community and those around us where we can” says Joe Lindenmayer, CEO and Owner of the California Closets along the Gulf and Emerald Coast. “Our Team is really behind this and having organizations get nominated by our clients and potential customers in our communities brings it home, literally!”
