Sandestn Golf and Beach Resort officially broke ground yesterday on a major expansion of its pickleball facilities, marking the start of a nearly half-million-dollar investment in recreational amenities for both residents and visitors.
The ceremony, held at the Sandestin Tennis Center, welcomed community leaders, partners, members of the media and pickleball enthusiasts to celebrate the addition of four new dedicated courts. The new courts will be open for pay-to-play use, as well as to members of the resort’s Tennis and Pickleball Clubs.
Led by Cajun Courts, a recognized leader in tennis and pickleball facility construction, the project is slated for completion in November 2025. Once complete, Sandestin will feature 10 total pickleball courts, offering tournaments, events and year-round play opportunities, and reinforcing its position as a premier sports and leisure destination along Florida’s Emerald Coast.
