Mike Ellicott is a military veteran and first-generation entrepreneur. In his nearly 30 years of professional business leadership, he's felt the same frustrations and challenges you're experiencing. But then he discovered EOS, Entrepreneurs Operating System. EOS so improved his business that he became an EOS implementor and now he helps businesses just like yours gain traction.
Designed by Gino Wickman, an entrepreneur working in his family enterprise, EOS identifies six elements of business that must be correctly and consistently managed in order for your business to gain traction and grow.
In this workshop Mike will present a high level overview of of these six elements and inspire you to operate your business with intention. At the end of this event, everyone will walk away with at least one tool, process or idea that can be implemented immediately to improve your business.
Specifically, attendees will walk away understanding how to:
- Strengthen their Vision by aligning the entire organization on where it is going and the process that will get it there
- Gaining Traction - improving your ability to execute on your Vision with focus, discipline and accountability across the organization
- Create a Healthy team - a team of people who work together well and truly enjoy spending time together doing the work of the business
This event is open to the public and will be of particular interest to veterans transitioning to entrepreneurship or civilian employment. The clearly defined goals and accountabilities of EOS mirror the decisiveness fundamental to military service, but many civilian businesses struggle to align. To help translate the skills learned in the military to entrepreneurship, Veterans Florida and statewide partner organizations, like Beachworx, have joined forces to offer the Veterans Florida Entrepreneurship Program, of which this workshop is an initiative.
This event will also be offered in virtual format. Everyone who attends in person also gets a complimentary ticket to the networking happy hour immediately following the workshop.
