We’re Just One Week Away From One Of The Biggest Giving Days Of The Year!
On last year's #GivingTuesday, you helped us raise over $4,500 towards the deployment of the nation's first Underwater Museum of Art's third sculpture deployment! This year, when you give to the CAA, your donation supports our Art for All funding! The CAA continues to recognize the the importance of supporting, stimulating and encouraging the arts to thrive in our community. In fact, it's been our passion since the very start. Almost 30 years ago, a group of artists, community volunteers and art lovers organized the very first Flutterby Arts Festival in order to energize and inspire the arts in Walton County. Over the years this founding vision has grown into the Art For All program. Through this program, the CAA has provided hundreds of thousands of dollars impacting tens of thousands of people through annual funding opportunities for students, teachers, artists and arts organizations.
We invite you to help us continue to energize and encourage our creative community by joining us for #GivingTuesday. ONE WEEK from today on Tuesday, November 30, you can donate and spreading the word on your social channels to inspire others to collaborate in strengthening our community by giving back to the Cultural Arts Alliance.
Want to amplify your giving efforts? In support of #GivingTuesday 2021, Meta (the parent company of Facebook, Instagram and What's App) is matching donations made on Facebook to qualifying nonprofits up to a total of $8 million. We will host an online fundraiser on the CAA Facebook page on November 30 with giving beginning at 7AM CST. Dollar for Dollar matching funds will expire once $2 million in donations are reached across all participating non-profits. For the remaining $6 million, Meta will match 10% of your donation. Matches are made on a first-come, first-served basis and will continue until the $8 million fund has been met. So, set a reminder now to GIVE EARLY to maximize your contribution!
The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) has once again joined #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide.
