As we prepare for the Thanksgiving season, the Walton County Sheriff’s Office is once again working to help local families who may need a little extra support putting a Thanksgiving meal on the table.
This year, our goal is to provide Thanksgiving meals to 250 families throughout Walton County, and we need the help of our community partners to make that possible.
We are currently collecting non-perishable Thanksgiving food items, and donations will be accepted through Wednesday, November 18th.
We would love to have your organization partner with us! There are several ways you can help:
- Host a collection box at your business or organization
- Encourage your employees, members, or customers to donate
- Share our Thanksgiving Food Drive information and flyer
- Donate non-perishable Thanksgiving food items or a grocery gift card.
Our team will distribute the collected food to families in need in time for Thanksgiving, with meal deliveries scheduled for Monday, November 23rd.
Reaching 250 families is a big goal, but with the support of our community, we know we can make a meaningful difference this Thanksgiving. Every donated item helps us get one step closer to providing a complete holiday meal for a local family.
I have attached our 2026 Thanksgiving Food Drive flyer and would greatly appreciate you sharing it with your employees, members, customers, and community.
If your organization would like to participate, host a collection box, or make a larger donation, please reach out to me. I would be happy to coordinate with you.
Thank you for continuing to support the Walton County Sheriff’s Office and, most importantly, the families in our community who need a helping hand this holiday season.
